-       1990년 초 에는 폐기되는 제품들 중 년간 1~2백만 톤 정도만 재활용 되고 있었다.

-       1990년 중반에는 폐기되는 제품들 중 재활용 량이 5백만 톤 정도가 되었다.

-       1999년이 지날때는 재활용 량이 1천만 톤 가량이 넘어섰다.

-       2006년에는 약 3천 7백만 톤이 재활용 되었다.

-       2007년에 재활용 량이 5천만 톤이 넘어서면서 4천5백만 위안 가량의 금전적인 효과를 얻을 수 있었다.

현재 중국의 재활용 물질들과 효율성은 다음과 같다.

1. Ferrous meta such as Iron and steel waste is between 70%-80%
2. Nonferrous metal such as copper and lead is 85%   
3. Waste plastic is 25%
4. Waste rubber is 47%
5. Waste paper is 20%
6. Waste glass is 13%
7. Automobile vehicles recycling rate is 800,000 per year
8. Over 20 million tons of total recyclable wastes are processed per year, of which over 50% are used cars and ships
